A personal conversation —
grounded in Scripture
and experience.

Reformation Project ambassadors are Christians across the country who have completed our intensive Leadership Development Cohort. They're available for one-on-one conversations with Christians navigating questions about gay, bisexual, and transgender people and the Bible.

The Ambassador Network

Someone who has done the work — and wants to walk with you through it.

Navigating questions about the Bible and LGBTQ inclusion can feel isolating, especially in churches that haven't created space for honest conversation. Reformation Project ambassadors are trained, local, and available to help.

Our ambassadors include gay, bisexual, and transgender Christians, parents, pastors, and allies who have worked through these questions carefully and can speak with both theological depth and genuine pastoral care.

A conversation with an ambassador is free, entirely private, and carries no obligation to agree with anything in advance. You simply reach out, and we'll connect you with someone whose background is a good fit for your situation.

01  ·  Trained

Intensive formation, not just good intentions.

Every ambassador has completed The Reformation Project's 12-week Leadership Development Cohort — a rigorous program in biblical theology, pastoral engagement, and the history of the church's teaching on sexuality.

02  ·  Personal

One conversation. No agenda but yours.

Ambassadors don't come with a script. They listen first. Whether you're a parent, a pastor, or someone working through your own faith, the conversation starts where you are.

03  ·  Local

Ambassadors are across the U.S. — and around the world.

Our network spans dozens of states and several countries. When you request a conversation, we'll match you with someone near you or in a context that fits your specific needs.

The Network

Ambassadors across the United States and beyond.

The Reformation Project has trained ambassadors in more than 90 locations across the country. The network continues to grow as new cohort members complete their training each year.

Request a Conversation

Fill out the form — we'll connect you with an ambassador.

Tell us a little about where you are and what you're looking for. We'll match you with an ambassador whose background, location, and experience are a good fit.

Conversations typically happen over video call or phone, at whatever pace is comfortable. There's no timeline, no pressure, and no expectation that you arrive with any particular theological position.

"Through The Reformation Project's Leadership Development Cohort, I've learned how to engage with others in a way that reflects Christ's love. It's not about winning arguments; it's about building bridges and fostering understanding."

Become an Ambassador

Ready to be the person someone else needs?

If you feel called to this kind of ministry — walking alongside Christians who are navigating hard questions about Scripture and LGBTQ inclusion — The Reformation Project's Leadership Development Cohort is where ambassadors are formed.

The Cohort is a 12-week intensive program in biblical theology, pastoral care, and advocacy. After completing it, cohort members are invited to serve as local ambassadors. Straight Christians are particularly encouraged to apply.
